Senior VP Strategic Initiatives

Gavin Mason is a retired Air Force Medical Service Officer and Department of Veterans Affairs Office of Information Technology (VA OIT) Program Director helping guide T&T’s strategic path with innovative technologies. He has 40 years of Defense, Federal and private sector experience in information management strategy and implementation, with broad expertise in healthcare. He filled many roles in the Air Force Medical Service including that of a facility and Major Command Chief Information Officer, providing strategic guidance to multiple organizations across all areas of information technology (IT). While working for VA OIT he supported the VA CIO in ensuring technical readiness capabilities for a $16B IT modernization program.

Gavin has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, from the University of Maryland, a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Florida, and a Masters of Science in Clinical Informatics from Northwestern University. He is a certified Project Management Professional, Scrum Master, and Customer Service Representative, and holds Infrastructure Technology Infrastructure Library Foundations and Practitioner certifications.
