Denis McDowell has over 25 years of experience helping organizations achieve their strategic goals through data and cloud modernization. As the Chief Architect at the U.S. Army Enterprise Cloud Management Agency, he led efforts to modernize tactical applications and datasets, transitioning them into persistent cloud environments for use by deployed units in the INDO-PACOM region. Additionally, he collaborated with the Federal Aviation Administration and the Department of Homeland Security on data platform modernization initiatives and worked with financial institutions and payment operators to optimize their data and operational systems. In 2022, he and his co-authors published Pro Database Migration to Azure: Data Modernization for the Enterprise.
